ASSISTANT FINANCE MANAGER – Bertam Resort, Penang

🚨 WE’RE HIRING | ASSISTANT FINANCE MANAGER📍 Bertam Resort, PenangBertam Resort is looking for an experienced and motivated Assistant Finance Manager to join our Finance team.Key Responsibilities:Assist the Finance Manager in overseeing the daily Finance & Accounting operations.Prepare and review monthly financial reports, P&L, balance sheet reconciliations, and management reports.Monitor revenue, expenses, cash flow, and departmental financial performance.Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing.Review Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and other accounting functions.Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, statutory requirements, and audit requirements.Assist with internal and external audits.Work closely with operational departments on cost control and financial matters.Support and guide Finance team members in their daily responsibilities.Requirements:Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Minimum 3–5 years of relevant Finance/Accounting experience.Previous experience in the hotel or hospitality industry is preferred.Experience in a supervisory or Assistant Manager capacity will be an added advantage.Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and accounting principles.Good analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting/financial systems.Good command of Bahasa Malaysia and English.Able to work independently, meet deadlines, and work effectively with different departments.🏨 Hospitality experience is highly preferred.📩 Interested candidates are invited to submit their latest resume for consideration.Join us and be part of the team at Bertam Resort, Penang.
