Apply & track with Apply EdgeAbout the Role Our client is a listed property development company looking for an Assistant Finance Manager to join their Finance team. This role will be involved in a broad range of general finance and accounting activities, with exposure to the Group’s property development business. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to gain exposure and be trained in property development feasibility studies, including project financial analysis and evaluation. Key Responsibilities Assist in overseeing day-to-day finance and accounting activities. Prepare and review monthly management reports, financial analysis and reporting. Assist with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis. Support the preparation of cash flow projections and financial planning. Monitor project-related financial performance, costs and expenditures. Liaise with internal departments and external parties including auditors, tax agents, company secretaries and bankers. Assist in ensuring compliance with accounting standards, statutory requirements and company policies. Support month-end and year-end closing activities. Assist in the preparation of Group and subsidiary financial information where required. Perform financial analysis and provide insights to support management decision-making. Gain exposure to property development feasibility studies, including project cost analysis, revenue assumptions, cash flow projections and basic investment returns analysis. Take on ad-hoc finance and business-related projects as assigned. Requirements Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline. Professional qualification such as ACCA / CPA / MIA will be an added advantage. Minimum 3–5 years of relevant finance and accounting experience, preferably within property development, construction or a listed company. Good understanding of general accounting, financial reporting and management reporting. Experience in budgeting, forecasting, cash flow or financial analysis will be an advantage. Strong Excel and analytical skills. Candidates with property development / project accounting exposure will have an added advantage. Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with different stakeholders. Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
