Assistant Finance Manager (FP&A & Retail)

Position: Assistant Finance Manager (FP&A, Forecasting, Budgeting & Retail)Location: Bangkok, ThailandGrit Search is partnered with a globally recognised footwear and lifestyle brand with a significant retail, e-commerce, and wholesale presence across Asia, to identify an Assistant Finance Manager for their Thailand office.This is a hands-on finance leadership role supporting the Finance Manager and senior management across the full spectrum of accounting, reporting, and financial planning.Role Overview:Finance Operations Lead: Oversee and manage key accounting functions across AP, AR, GL, and Tax — ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution.Business Partner: Support senior management with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning, translating financial data into clear, actionable insights for decision-making.Audit & Compliance Owner: Coordinate year-end audits, statutory filings, and ensure all processes meet regulatory requirements.Key Responsibilities:Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.Analyse financial data and prepare management reports to support business decisions.Monitor lease accounting and maintain cost of goods accuracy.Support cash flow management and treasury-related activities.Liaise with external auditors and provide all necessary documentation for a smooth audit process.Assist in preparing statutory filings and ensuring regulatory compliance.Handle ad-hoc finance projects and assignments as required.Required Qualifications & Skills:Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting. CPD qualification or MBA is preferred.Experience: Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, ideally within the retail, e-commerce, or wholesale industry.Technical: Proficient in full set of accounts, financial analysis, budgeting, and planning.
