You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the company while contributing to the growth and development of LB's accounting function. This includes ensuring the timely preparation and maintenance of the general ledger for LB's selected entities. In addition, you will play a key role in driving the enhancement and implementation of accounting best practices across all operating entities.Main responsibilities :Group Consolidation and audit:Preparation of monthly group consolidated financial statements in accordance with SFRSReview monthly management accounts for certain group entities to ensure accuracy, compliance with SFRS, and adherence to Group policiesEnsure the timely submission of financial data by each entity, providing support and guidance when necessaryPerform group-level analysis, including variance analysis, and provide insights to management on financial performanceLiaise with external auditors to ensure compliance with SFRS and the timely completion of audits for group consolidated statements and local statutory accountsProcess Improvement & Best Practices:Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with SFRSDrive the automation of manual processes and foster a continuous improvement mindsetEnsure adherence to internal controls and governance policies, maintaining the integrity of financial reportingSystem Migration Support:Lead SAP data clean-up activities for certain group entities, working with relevant stakeholders to resolve open items and ensure data integrityTeam Leadership & Guidance:Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of juniors, providing coaching on accounting best practices, technical knowledge, and professional growthCollaborate closely with internal stakeholders, in particular Strategic Finance and OperationsOthers:Handle ad hoc tasks and projects as assignedRequirementsQualifications & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA) are preferredMinimum of 5 years' experience in a finance role, with at least 2 years in audit and 3 years of commercial experienceEffective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholdersAbility to lead and develop a team, with strong interpersonal and communication skillsStrong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneouslyProficiency in using accounting software and ERP systems. Experience in SAP B1 will be an added advantageYou Should Have An ability to think and work strategically and systemically - continuously prioritizing key deliverablesGood problem-solving skills Strong multitasking and execution abilitiesStrong communication skills across the GL team and cross-functional teams. Strong teamplayer with ability to inhibit positive influence on juniors and peers
