With integrated manufacturing operations and an established export business, the organisation continues to enhance its production capabilities to support long-term business growth.About the JobThis is a Group Finance role where you will work closely with the Finance Manager in preparing financial reports, group consolidation, and month-end closing activities for management review. You will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting while supporting statutory compliance, regulatory reporting, and finance process improvement initiatives across the Group.
Job Responsibilities
Prepare group financial reports, consolidation schedules, and supporting analysis to ensure accurate and timely reportingSupport monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closing activities in accordance with reporting timelinesAssist in the preparation of statutory financial statements, annual reports, and other corporate reporting requirementsPerform financial reconciliations and review key balance sheet and profit & loss accountsCoordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and internal stakeholders on statutory audits and compliance mattersSupport tax-related reporting, regulatory submissions, and other finance compliance activitiesAssist in group cash flow reporting, financial analysis, and management reportingSupport SAP finance processes, system enhancements, and finance process improvement initiativesLiaise with finance teams across the Group to ensure reporting consistency and compliance with accounting standardsSupport ad-hoc finance projects and other assignments as delegated by management
Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related disciplineMust be a Chartered Accountant with an active MIA membership or a CIMA qualificationMinimum 5 years of relevant finance and accounting experience within a manufacturing environmentHands-on experience in financial reporting, group consolidation, and month-end closing is essentialExperience working in a listed manufacturing company environment is highly preferredGood knowledge of MFRS/IFRS and financial reporting requirementsExperience with SAP or other ERP systems will be an advantageStrong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skillsWhat’s on Offer:An opportunity to play a key role within the Group Finance function of a well-established multinational manufacturing organisationCompetitive remuneration (basic salary up to RM8,000)A stable and collaborative working environment with long employee tenure, strong succession planning, and opportunities for long-term career development
