Assistant General Manager

We are looking for an exceptional Assistant General Manager to join Ling Ling Dubai, part of Hakkasan Group, home to the internationally acclaimed Hakkasan, Yauatcha, and Ling Ling brands.This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded and people-focused hospital leader to play a key role in the operation of a globally recognised luxury dining destination. Working closely with the General Manager, you will help drive exceptional guest experiences, strong operational performance, and a high-performing team culture in line with Hakkasan Group standards.This role is suited to a dynamic, hands-on leader who thrives within fast-paced, high-volume, luxury hospitality environments and has a passion for delivering elevated dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Support the General Manager in overseeing the day-to-day restaurant operation, ensuring consistently high standards across guest experience, service, and operational deliveryChampion exceptional hospitality standards, ensuring every guest interaction feels personalised, seamless, and memorableLead, inspire, coach, and develop the management and restaurant teams, creating a positive and high -performing cultureMaintain a strong presence on the floor, leading service and ensuring the smooth execution of daily operationsSupport commercial performance through effective labour management, cost control, revenue optimisation, and delivery against key operational targetsMaintain exceptional standards across service, atmosphere, cleanliness, maintenance, and operational executionWork collaboratively with the kitchen, bar, and wider management teams to deliver a seamless guest experienceSupport recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, and ongoing development across the restaurant teamPartner with the General Manager and wider teams on marketing initiatives, brand activations, events, and business development opportunitiesEnsure full compliance across health & safety, licensing, labour regulations, and company policiesBuild and maintain a culture aligned with the Hakkasan Group principlesWhat We’re Looking ForProven experience in an Assistant General Manager position within a fast-paced luxury hospitality environmentStrong operational and commercial acumen, with experience within high-volume restaurants and complex service operationsProven ability to lead, motivate, and develop large and diverse teamsExceptional attention to detail and a passion for delivering elevated guest experiencesConfident communicator with strong relationship-building skillsNaturally hands on, solutions focused, and highly organisedExperience within luxury lifestyle, fine dining, or internationally recognised hospitality brands is highly desirablePrevious experience within the Dubai or UAE hospitality market would be advantageousWe offer a competitive package and the opportunity to grow within a globally recognised luxury hospitality group
