Combining the precision of Japanese cuisine with the warmth of the Mediterranean, Tapasake brings together its signature restaurant, the UAE's longest suspended infinity pool.We are looking for a polished and proactive Assistant Guest Relations Manager to support the guest experience across Tapasake's restaurant, pool, and Sky Lounge, from reservation through to departure.Key Responsibilities:Support the Guest Relations Manager in managing reservations and table/cabana allocation across the venue's restaurant, pool, and Sky Lounge.Build and maintain relationships with VIP guests, regulars, and key contacts to drive repeat visits.Greet and personally host VIP arrivals, ensuring a seamless welcome and handover to service teams.Maintain and grow the guest database/CRM, tracking preferences, spend history, and special occasions.Support coordination with promoters, hosts, and marketing on guest list management for key nights and events.Handle guest feedback and resolve service issues promptly and diplomatically.Work closely with floor, bar, and kitchen management to align VIP guest flow with service capacity.Support recruitment, training, and coaching of the Guest Relations/Host team alongside the Guest Relations Manager.Ideal Candidate:Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a Guest Relations, VIP Host, or similar guest-facing role within luxury restaurants, beach/pool clubs, or 5-star hospitality — new-opening experience a plus.Strong network within Dubai's hospitality/nightlife scene preferred.Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills with a discreet, polished manner.Proficient with reservation/CRM systems.Strong problem-solving skills under pressure during high-volume peak periods.Fluent English; Arabic, French, Russian, or Japanese a strong advantage given the clientele and brand.Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
