The resort features over 20 curated restaurants and lounges, the traditional Souk Madinat Jumeirah, dedicated kids' clubs and some of the region’s most versatile event and conference spacesAbout the Job:An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant IT lead to join our hotel Jumeirah Mina Al SalamThe main duties and responsibilities of this role include:- Lead Customer Experience, Operational Excellence, and Digital Channels initiatives using Agile methodologies to ensure high-quality delivery and continuous improvement.- Develop and implement property-specific IT strategies and plans aligned with Group IT objectives, ensuring SLA compliance and quality standards.- Manage IT operations and deliveries, proactively resolving technical issues, risks, and project impediments while collaborating with Group IT.- Ensure compliance with IT standards, cybersecurity, data protection, and operational processes, while maintaining high system availability and service levels.- Drive improvements in Wi-Fi connectivity, cloud infrastructure, hotel systems, and IT support to enhance the guest and colleague experience.- Promote digital adoption and innovation, identifying emerging trends and delivering training and coaching to foster a digital-first culture.About You:The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications8+ years of IT experience within the luxury hospitality industry, ideally in a large or complex hotel environment.Extensive knowledge of Microsoft technologies and platforms, with strong analytical, strategic planning, and execution skills.Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, Customer Experience (CX), and Design Thinking.Excellent organizational, project management, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and resources.Strong communication, influencing, and collaboration skills, with experience working in multicultural, diverse, and matrixed/federated organizations.About the BenefitsAt Jumeirah, we are dedicated to fostering a workplace where colleagues feel valued, supported, and inspired to grow.
