This position is responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger entries, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and expense tracking. The role involves assisting with financial planning and analysis, preparing periodic financial statements and management reports, and supporting budgeting and forecasting activities. The Assistant Manager will help ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls, and coordinate with auditors and external stakeholders as needed. This role also includes collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights, improve processes, and support decision-making.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong core accounting skills, including general ledger management, accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, and financial reporting.Candidates should possess finance and analysis skills, such as budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and cash flow management.Candidates should possess proficiency with accounting software and MS Excel, including use of formulas, pivot tables, and financial modeling tools.Candidates should possess knowledge of relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal control practices.Candidates should possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to work with internal teams and external partners.Relevant academic qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CMA, MBA in Finance) are an advantage.Prior experience in an accounts and finance role, preferably in a SaaS or services-based organization, is highly beneficial.
