Assistant Manager Accounts

Key DeliverablesThe duties and responsibilities of this position include:· Maintain accurate and complete accounting records in compliance with applicable accounting standards (IFRS) and organizational policies.· Review and supervise preparation of payment vouchers, receipt vouchers, and journal entries.· Perform and review bank reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of reconciling items.· Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.· Monitor budget utilization and provide variance analysis to management.· Ensure compliance with tax laws (Income Tax, Sales Tax) and assist in preparation and filing of tax returns.· Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions and ensure timely settlements.· Strengthen and monitor internal controls, approval matrix, and financial governance.· Review supporting documents for expenses to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance.· Coordinate and assist in internal and external audits, including preparation of schedules and responses to audit queries.· Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for audit and regulatory purposes.· Support treasury operations, including cash flow monitoring and fund management.· Coordinate with cross-functional teams for financial data, reporting, and reconciliations.· Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.· Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives within the finance function.· Perform any other tasks assigned by senior management.Educational qualification: · CA Inter with Articles completed from a reputed firm.· Good communication and reporting skills.· Time management and Team player.
