Assistant Manager - Asset Management

We are looking for passionate individuals to join our Asset Management Solution team under the managed services, part of the KPMG Advisory. Our group supports government, infrastructure and asset-intensive clients with their most complex challenges. Our team gets involved with exciting projects across both private and public sector entities including major finance and infrastructure portfolios in Transport, Power & Utilities, Defense, Oil and Gas. This is a fast-growing area offering many opportunities building upon a global capability in Asset Management where we provide:Operating Model Design and Business TransformationStrategic asset investment planning including business plan supportEfficiency programs covering both capital and operating expenditureAsset and portfolio resilience support including maintenance planningCompliance with asset accounting standards and ensuring complianceInternal assurance and peer review of key business processesInvestor assurance of asset performance and transaction due diligence supportProject DeliveryDevelop solutions to problems and collaborate with colleagues at all seniority levels across KPMG and in our client organizationsProduce client ready deliverables (slides, documents or spreadsheets) that exceed expectationsTake ownership of workstreams within engagements and/or contribute to larger workstreams, working closely with workstream leadsLiaise effectively and collaboratively with clients whilst working on engagements and act as an ‘ambassador’ for KPMGContribute to the development of the team and foster a collaborative, inclusive and supportive team cultureContribute to business development opportunities by helping with the generation of proposals and bid documentsSupporting the development of a continuous learning environment and keeping up to date with technical best practice and developmentsApplicants need to display the following requirements:Experience with Enterprise Asset Management systems implementation / upgradeExperience with ISO 55000 International Standard for Asset ManagementDemonstrable experience in asset-intensive sectors (consulting or client side) improving business operations using industry established methodologiesDemonstrate high levels of drive, ambition and ability to work in a fast-paced environmentBring energy and a motivation to make a real difference to our engagementsBe good team players who work with colleagues in a collaborative and inclusive wayBe comfortable handling ambiguity and changing client demandsKnowledge and understanding of business operations challenges with a focus on Telecoms, Transport, Power & Utilities, Defense, Oil and GasAssessing and understanding risks at both a business and an asset portfolio levelExcellent English written and oral communication skillsA first class or 2.1 degree in a relevant area
