Assistant Manager, Aviation (Middle Office)

My Client, an International bank in the City, seeks a middle office banker, with at least 2 years current middle office/agency/security trustee experience to the Aviation space, to join their wider Transport Finance team in London.The role will involve :To support the regular Asset Assessment process for Aviation Finance loans. This will include preparation of reporting paperwork for each transaction for Branch approval.To monitor and manage the portfolio of existing Aviation Finance transactions, including regular credit risk assessment and “close monitoring” of Watch List cases.To assist Front Officers with gathering and checking information for periodic “Know Your Customer” checks and preparing the related paperwork. In addition, support the Assistant Manager with periodic Ongoing Due Diligence.To liaise with Facility Agents on Aviation Finance transactions to ensure timely receipt of Borrower information.To manage the covenant and collateral reporting process alongside the Assistant ManagerTo collaborate with Front Officers, when required, to prepare analysis and review of new business applications, waivers, and amendments.To help prepare internal credit ratings for both new transactions and periodic reviews of existing loansTo work with the Assistant Manager, to manage and update the aviation portfolio reportTo perform such other duties as requested from time to time by the Head of Department, the General Manager, or other members of the senior management team.
