Assistant Manager - Blackcraft Coffee

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our new Los Angeles café. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for providing exceptional customer service. As Blackcraft Coffee’s Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring food safety and quality, and maintaining inventory control while creating a welcoming environment for our guests.DutiesAssist the General Manager in leading and managing café staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling shifts to ensure efficient operations.Help manage inventory, place orders with suppliers, and monitor stock levels to avoid shortages or overstock.Ensure compliance with food handling and safety regulations to maintain a clean and safe environment for both staff and customers.Collaborate with GM to develop and implement operational procedures to enhance customer service and improve overall efficiency.Monitor daily sales and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.Foster a positive team culture that encourages collaboration and high performance among staff members.Engage with customers to gather feedback, resolve issues, and enhance their overall experience at the café.Collaborate with baristas to ensure timely beverage preparation and delivery while maintaining quality standards.ExperienceAt least two years experience in cafe management is essential.Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.Knowledge of inventory control practices and food safety regulations is required.Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating a positive dining experience.Experience in shift management within a fast-paced environment is preferred.Familiarity with kitchen operations and food handling practices is advantageous.If you are passionate about the coffee industry and possess the necessary skills to lead a successful team while providing outstanding service, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity as Blackcraft Coffee’s Assistant Manager.
