Candidates joining KP Group become part of a dynamic organization contributing to India’s renewable energy and industrial development journey.Role Description The Assistant Manager Civil and Services Procurement will manage end-to-end procurement activities for civil works and related services within KP Group’s projects. This full-time, on-site role is based in Surat and involves identifying and evaluating vendors, preparing and issuing RFQs/RFPs, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of materials and services as per project specifications. The role includes coordinating with project, engineering, and finance teams to align procurement plans with project timelines and budgets, maintaining accurate procurement records, and supporting compliance with internal policies and statutory guidelines. The Assistant Manager will monitor supplier performance, help resolve delivery or quality issues, and contribute to continuous improvement of procurement processes, cost optimization, and risk mitigation in civil and services procurement.Qualifications Strong procurement and sourcing capabilities, including vendor evaluation, contract negotiation, and purchase order management for civil works and related services.Knowledge of civil construction materials, services, and standards, with the ability to interpret technical specifications and basic engineering drawings.Competence in project coordination and planning, ensuring alignment of procurement schedules with project timelines and budgets.Proficiency in MS Office and procurement-related software or ERP systems, with solid skills in data analysis and documentation.Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building abilities for collaboration with internal teams and external vendors.Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills, with a focus on accuracy, cost-effectiveness, and adherence to compliance requirements.Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; relevant professional certifications in procurement or supply chain are an advantage.Experience in procurement within infrastructure, construction, or renewable energy sectors is highly beneficial; prior experience in a similar role will be an added advantage.
