We are looking for highly driven individuals who share our values and are ready to be partners in this journey with a commitment to excel and contribute to their respective fields.Roles and ResponsibilitiesWe are looking for a skilled Assistant Manager – Hostel Finances to be responsible for revenue billing and accounting of Student and Student Diner Portal (G-Diner) and Other Guest House revenues, mess billing and stock verification, and for supporting statutory audit, financial reporting and statutory compliance for the Hostel, Mess, Food Outlets and Guest House operations in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner.Manage revenue billing and accounting for Student hostel fees, G-Diner revenue, and Other Guest House revenues.Handle Mess billing, including verification, reconciliation and accounting of mess charges for students and staff.Conduct periodic stock taking and inventory verification for hostel, mess and guest house stores, and reconcile physical stock with book records.Coordinate and handle Statutory Audit requirements relating to Hostel and Mess finances, including preparation of schedules and responses to audit queries.Prepare Financials, including income and expenditure statements, revenue reconciliations and MIS reports for hostel, Mess and guest house operations.Ensure Statutory Compliance relating to GST, TDS and other applicable statutory requirements for hostel and guest house revenues and expenses.Coordinate with hostel Managers, Mess Managers and guest house staff for accurate and timely billing data.Undertake other finance-related work relating to hostel and guest house operations as assigned by management.Requirements and skillsProven working experience in institutional/hostel accounting, revenue billing or a similar finance role.Solid understanding of bookkeeping, revenue accounting and statutory compliance principles (GST, TDS).Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures, financial records and stock records.Experience coordinating Statutory Audits and preparing audit schedules and financial statements.Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and ERP.Proficiency in English and in MS Office, especially Excel.High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
