Assistant Manager - Collections & RecoveriesAssistant Manager – Collections & Recoveries is responsible for improving collections and recovery performance of the lending portfolio by executing recovery strategies, monitoring portfolio trends, and managing relationships with recovery partners and vendors to achieve recovery targets.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor and manage the lending portfolio from a collections and recoveries perspective.Develop and execute recovery strategies to improve delinquency and recovery performance.Analyze portfolio trends and identify opportunities to enhance collection effectiveness and reduce losses.Manage relationships with recovery agencies, technology vendors, and other external partners.Monitor partner performance against agreed SLAs and recovery targets.Support the implementation of new collections and recovery solutions.Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validation of new systems, tools, and integrations.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve recovery processes and portfolio performance.RequirementsBachelor's Degree, Diploma, or professional qualification in Business Administration, Banking, Management, Finance, or a related field.Minimum 4 years of experience in collections, recoveries, digital lending, consumer finance, or portfolio management.Experience managing collection agencies, recovery partners, or technology vendors will be an advantage.Exposure to device financing, digital lending, fintech, or unsecured lending products is preferred.Preferred Skills & CompetenciesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent stakeholder and vendor management capabilities.Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Ability to interpret portfolio data and recommend recovery strategies.Project coordination and process improvement skills.Results-oriented with the ability to drive performance targets.
