Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):Ensuring RBI compliance, regulatory returns and reportingManaging FEMA and Companies Act compliance and filingsDrafting and reviewing policies and ensuring compliance with applicable RBI regulations and Master Directions, including KYC/AML, outsourcing, governance and prudential normsMaintaining compliance calendars, conducting compliance testing, and managing registers and trackersSupporting RBI inspections, audits and regulatory reviewsSupporting Board, Committee and General Meetings, including statutory records and documentationCompetencies:Strong understanding of RBI regulations, FEMA and Companies ActGood knowledge of NBFC/HFC regulatory and compliance requirementsStrong attention to detail and regulatory interpretation skillsGood drafting, documentation and stakeholder management skillsAbility to manage multiple compliance activities and timelines effectivelyEducation and work experience:LL.B. and/or CS qualification2–3 years of relevant compliance experience, preferably in an NBFC/HFC, automotive finance, leasing or financial services sectorPrior in-house experience with exposure to RBI, Companies Act, FEMA and corporate compliance will be preferred.If you are a self-driven compliance professional with a strong understanding of corporate and regulatory frameworks, and are excited to work in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment, we encourage you to share your updated CV with us at careers@vertelo.in
