Assistant Manager, Compliance (AML/CFT) | DubaiSELECTED is partnering with a well-established corporate services organisation in Dubai to appoint an Assistant Manager, Compliance.This is a hands-on AML/CFT role for someone who enjoys owning the detail. You will run the day-to-day compliance framework, act as the gatekeeper on client onboarding and due diligence, and be the operational point of contact for UAE authorities, working closely with the Head of Compliance.What you will be doingRunning the day-to-day AML/CFT policies, procedures and controls across the client onboarding and licensing processReviewing higher-risk client applications, including KYC, EDD, beneficial ownership and client risk rating, before acceptanceClearing daily ongoing screening alerts across the client portfolio, covering PEPs, sanctions, adverse media and changes in ownership or risk profileScreening against the UN Consolidated List and UAE Local Terrorist List at onboarding and on every list update, escalating matches without delayAssessing internal suspicious activity reports and filing STRs/SARs with the UAE FIU via goAMLResponding to requests and directives from competent UAE authoritiesDelivering quarterly AML/CFT training and preparing compliance reporting for senior managementWhat you will bring3-5+ years in AML/CFT, KYC or compliance within a UAE regulated environment, ideally corporate services, trust and company services, a licensing body, Big 4 or financial servicesHands-on experience with CDD/EDD, UBO identification, PEP and sanctions screeningWorking knowledge of UAE AML/CFT legislation and goAML reportingCAMS, ICA, ACFCS or equivalent preferredBachelor’s degreeSound independent judgement, high integrity and comfort working with minimal supervisionFluent English; Arabic is a plusWhy applyAssistant Manager title with real ownership of a compliance functionStable, well-established organisation in DubaiBroad exposure across onboarding, screening, reporting and regulator engagementInterested?
