The resort features over 20 curated restaurants and lounges, the traditional Souk Madinat Jumeirah, dedicated kids' clubs and some of the region’s most versatile event and conference spacesAbout the Job:An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Manager - Conference and Events to join our hotel Jumeirah Mina Al SalamThe main duties and responsibilities of this role include:Assist in planning and coordinating conferences and events, including logistics, scheduling, venues, and guest requirements.Communicate with clients and stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and address enquiries or concerns.Coordinate with vendors and suppliers, obtaining quotations, supporting negotiations, and ensuring services are delivered as required.Support event setup, execution, and breakdown, providing guidance to event staff and resolving operational issues on-site.Assist with event budgets and expenses, identifying cost-saving opportunities while maintaining service quality and standards.Manage event administration and logistics, including documentation, calendars, transportation, accommodations, guest services, and post-event feedback.About You:The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualificationsBachelor’s degree in Hospitality or a relevant field, with 8–10 years of experience in a similar role.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong administrative and technical skills.Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop teams.Strong problem-solving, project management, and creative thinking abilities.Highly detail-oriented, organized, and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.About the BenefitsAt Jumeirah, we are dedicated to fostering a workplace where colleagues feel valued, supported, and inspired to grow.
