We are recruiting for a leading professional services and advisory firm seeking to appoint an Assistant Manager within its growing Deal Advisory team.The role offers the opportunity to work across a broad range of transactions, supporting private equity investors, corporates and other clients across financial due diligence, M&A, valuations, financial modelling, business planning and debt advisory.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced transaction advisory professional looking to take the next step in their career and gain greater responsibility across complex client engagements.Key ResponsibilitiesWork on financial due diligence engagements relating to acquisitions and divestitures by private equity investors and corporate clients.Take responsibility for key workstreams within transaction engagements, working closely with Managers and senior team members.Support M&A and lead advisory assignments, including MBO/MBI transactions, information memoranda and financial databooks.Undertake valuation assignments, including DCF analysis, comparable company analysis, purchase price allocations and intangible asset valuations.Build and review robust financial models, including three-statement forecasts, scenario modelling and sensitivity analysis.Work with clients to prepare business plans, forecasts and financial analysis supporting organic and inorganic growth strategies.Support the wider team on debt advisory and capital-raising engagements.Analyse financial and operational information, identifying key transaction issues, trends and commercial considerations.Prepare clear, concise reports and presentations for clients and senior stakeholders.Coordinate and review elements of work completed by junior team members and provide support and guidance where appropriate.Manage individual workstreams, deadlines and deliverables across multiple engagements.

Requirements

Prior transaction advisory experience is essential, including experience in financial due diligence, valuations, financial modelling and/or M&A advisory.Approximately 3–4 years' relevant professional experience.ACA, CFA or equivalent professional qualification, or progressing towards qualification.Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related discipline.Strong understanding of IFRS and Irish GAAP.Advanced Excel and financial modelling capabilities.Good knowledge of key valuation methodologies and approaches.Experience with S&P Capital IQ, Mergermarket, Bloomberg or similar databases would be advantageous.Experience with Power BI, Alteryx, Tableau or similar analytical tools would be beneficial.Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to produce clear, concise reports.Strong interpersonal and client-facing skills.Highly organised, with the ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively to transaction deadlines.Proactive, commercially minded and comfortable working within a fast-paced Deal Advisory environment.
