Its core businesses include oil palm plantation development and management, healthcare services, hospitality, and property development and facility management.Through its business and investment activities, PSB works closely with its subsidiaries, business partners, communities and key stakeholders to create sustainable economic opportunities and long-term value.Role: Assistant Manager, Corporate Planning & Performance Monitoring📍 Location: Ipoh, Perak 💼 Employment Type: Full-time, On-siteRole DescriptionThe Assistant Manager, Corporate Planning & Performance Monitoring will support the execution of PSB’s corporate strategic planning and performance monitoring processes.The role is responsible for translating the strategic direction of PSB and MAIPk into actionable plans, supporting business planning cycles, managing KPI frameworks, and monitoring organisational performance across PSB and its subsidiaries.The incumbent will also support management reporting and provide data-driven insights to facilitate effective decision-making and ensure alignment with the Group’s strategic priorities.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Corporate Strategy, Strategic Management, or a related field. Minimum 5–7 years of relevant experience in corporate strategy, strategic planning, performance management, or related fields. Experience in supporting and coordinating strategic projects and initiatives. Good understanding of strategic planning and performance management processes. Basic knowledge of Islamic finance principles and relevant compliance standards. Strong analytical, financial and problem-solving capabilities. Good communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills. Certification in Strategic Management would be an added advantage. Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English, both written and spoken. Corporate Governance – Understanding of governance, policies and compliance requirements, including relevant Islamic principles. Performance Monitoring – Ability to track KPIs, strategic initiatives and organisational performance using appropriate dashboards and reporting tools. Core CompetenciesLeadership & Coordination – Ability to coordinate and support teams in delivering strategic priorities. Analytical Thinking – Ability to analyse business information, trends and performance data and translate them into actionable insights. Communication – Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly in management reports and presentations. Problem-Solving – Ability to identify issues, evaluate options and support practical solutions. Stakeholder Management – Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Adaptability – Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a dynamic business environment.
