Assistant Manager Data and AI

Job Description – AI Strategy & Governance We are seeking a high-performing Personnel to join our AI Strategy & Governance practice. This role will lead client engagements focused on assessing AI maturity, defining target-state capabilities, and designing scalable AI operating models. The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking, strong stakeholder management, and a deep understanding of AI governance, risk, and enterprise transformation.Key ResponsibilitiesClient Engagement & DeliveryLead end-to-end delivery of AI strategy and governance engagements across industries Conduct AI maturity assessments across dimensions such as data, technology, talent, governance, and processes Define target-state AI maturity models aligned with business strategy and value realization Design and implement enterprise AI operating models (centralized, federated, hybrid) Develop AI roadmaps, including prioritized use cases, capability build-out plans, and investment strategies AI Governance & RiskEstablish AI governance frameworks, including policies, standards, and controls Advise clients on responsible AI, model risk management, and regulatory compliance Define processes for AI lifecycle management (development, deployment, monitoring, retraining) Support implementation of AI risk and control frameworks aligned with global standards Stakeholder ManagementEngage with senior client stakeholders (C-suite, business leaders, IT, risk, compliance) Facilitate workshops to align on AI vision, strategy, and operating model design Translate complex AI concepts into business-relevant insights and recommendations Practice DevelopmentContribute to development of AI strategy & governance offerings, methodologies, and thought leadership Support business development activities, including proposals, client pitches, and solution shaping Mentor and coach junior team membersKey SkillsStrong understanding of AI maturity models, operating models, and governance frameworksKnowledge of responsible AI principles (fairness, explainability, transparency, accountability)Experience with AI risk management, model governance, and regulatory considerationsAbility to bridge business strategy and technical implementationStrong project management and team leadership experienceExcellent communication and executive presentation skillsAbility to manage multiple stakeholders and complex engagementsProven ability to work in fast-paced, ambiguous environmentsQualificationNative Arabic speaker; fluent in reading, writing & speaking both Arabic & EnglishBachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Data Science, Engineering, or related field MBA or advanced degree preferred.6–10 years of experience in consulting, with a focus on AI/analytics strategy, digital transformation, or technology advisory Proven experience delivering AI strategy, operating model, or governance engagements Familiarity with AI/ML concepts, data ecosystems, and enterprise architectureExperience working in a Big 4 or top-tier consulting firm Exposure to global AI regulations and standards (e.g., EU AI Act, model risk guidelines)Certifications in AI, data, or risk management (e.g., PMP, CISM, or equivalent)
