Job Title: Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager – Direct Purchase (Automotive seating systems)Location: MSKH, Pune (Chakan)Industry: Automotive seating systems Experience: 9–16 years (role-dependent)CTC: ₹12–20 LPA (depending on role and experience)SHIFT: General SHIFTMandatory Requirements:Direct experience in Automotive seating systems Pure direct purchase / sourcing experience in Automotive Tier-1 or Tier-2 companies.Strong commodity-specific expertise and hands-on costing experience.Commodity Expertise Required:Engineering Plastics – PA6, PA66, PP, POM and reinforced plasticsFoam & Trim – PU foam, fabrics, leather, PVC and interior trimSheet Metal & Tubular Parts – Stamping, pressing, tube bending, welding and fabrication

Key Responsibilities

Handle direct purchasing, strategic sourcing and supplier development for the relevant commodity.Perform should-costing and cost analysis, including raw materials, tooling, conversion costs, cycle time and scrap.Manage supplier negotiations, cost optimization, alternate sourcing and localization.Understand relevant manufacturing processes, tooling and productivity improvement.Manage RFQs, new project sourcing, VA/VE and procurement activities from RFQ to SOP.Coordinate with engineering, quality, manufacturing and supply chain teams.Interested candidates can share their updated CVs along with current CTC, expected CTC and notice period at alamelu@liveconnections.in
