ASSISTANT MANAGER - EHS & COMPLIANCE-Pannala (Apparel/Textile)Leading Multinational Apparel Manufacturing Company.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESEnsure full compliance with all applicable Environment, health and safety regulations, standards, and organizational requirements.Develop, implement, and continuously improve Health & Safety policies, procedures, systems, and best practices.Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, hazard identification, and risk assessments across the manufacturing facility.Lead the relevant customer audits and for implement corrective & preventive actions.Ensure compliance with ISO 45001 and other relevant industry standards.Monitor and enforce the appropriate use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safety equipment.Lead fire safety, emergency preparedness, evacuation procedures, and emergency response drills.Investigate workplace incidents, accidents, and near-misses, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions while ensuring zero major incidents.Ensure contractor safety compliance, including appropriate documentation, certifications, and equipment standards.Develop and monitor safety performance indicators and provide regular reports and recommendations to management.Drive safety awareness through training, communication, toolbox talks, and employee engagement initiatives.Review, develop, and enhance SOPs, work permit systems, safety manuals, and risk control measures.Promote a proactive safety-first culture throughout the organization.Work closely with operational teams and management to identify opportunities for continuous improvement in workplace safety.Co-ordinate with relevant government institutions.SKILL PROFILEBSc graduate in engineering / Science / any other relevant field with 03-05 years' experience in same scope in an Apparel/Textile manufacturing /Industrial environment.Previous experience within a manufacturing environment will be highly advantageous.Strong understanding of occupational health and safety legislation, regulations, compliance requirements, and industry standards.Qualified auditor in ISO 45001 & 14001 will be added advantage.Good knowledge of MS Office, particularly MS Excel.Good communication, coordination, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Salary (Negotiable)
