The resort offers a wide range of leisure, wellness, and children’s facilities, complemented by a diverse selection of award-winning dining experiences.About the JobAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Manager -Engineering to join Jumeirah Beach Hotel, Dubai.The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:Assist in planning and implementing engineering strategies, preventive maintenance schedules, and energy-saving initiatives.Supervise daily operations, ensuring timely completion of work orders and adherence to SOPs and collaborate with other departments to ensure engineering support for guest services and events.Monitor compliance with JEMS, fire safety, life safety, and health regulations.Manage inventory of spare parts and tools, ensuring cost-effective procurement and usage.Prepare reports on maintenance activities, equipment performance, and budget utilization and support recruitment, training, and development of engineering staff.Handle escalated technical issues and coordinate with vendors for specialized repairs.About YouThe ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:Minimum 5 years in engineering operations within luxury hospitality, including 2–3 years in a leadership role.Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/electrical engineering.Proficiency in English is essential.Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to handling guest requests and service recovery.About the BenefitsAt Jumeirah, we are dedicated to fostering a workplace where colleagues feel valued, supported, and inspired to grow.
