Job SummaryBe a finance partner driving budget control, cost efficiency and business support.Finance and Budget ControlLead the planning, preparation, monitoring, and control of CAPEX and OPEX budgets in alignment with business objectives.Review and control expenditures to ensure proper approval, justification, classification, and alignment with approved budgets.Monitor budget utilization and prepare variance analysis, cost reports, and management reports for management review.Provide financial analysis, insights, and recommendations to support cost optimization and effective resource allocation.Maintain accurate financial records, general ledger schedules, and supporting documentation related to expenditures.Oversee month-end and year-end closing activities, including accruals, reconciliations, and reporting.Ensure proper accounting treatment for capital expenditure, operating expenses, fixed assets, depreciation.Maintain oversight of the fixed asset register, including asset capitalization, transfer, disposal, and control of asset-related records.Support forecasting, budgeting exercises, and financial performance tracking.Administrative ControlOversee administrative cost planning and ensure administrative spending is properly controlled and aligned with approved budgets.Review and monitor vendor-related costs, contract commitments, and administrative expenditures from a budget control perspective.Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure expenditure requests are properly evaluated and managed in accordance with company policies.Business SupportProvide ad hoc support on sales-related administrative and financial matters, including sales data checking, documentation, cost tracking, quotation or payment coordination, and other sales support tasks as assigned by management.Coordinate with the sales team and relevant internal departments to ensure sales-related documents, records, and supporting information are properly maintained and followed up where required.Compliance and ReportingEnsure compliance with internal finance policies, accounting standards, and statutory requirements.Support audit, tax, banking, and other finance-related matters.Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on finance, budget, and control-related matters.Perform any other duties assigned by management in relation to finance, cost control, administrative oversight, and sales support.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, budgeting, cost control, or a related function.Strong experience in CAPEX and OPEX management, budget monitoring, financial reporting, and fixed asset control.Good understanding of internal controls, compliance requirements, and finance governance.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide practical recommendations.Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting or ERP systems.Able to work independently and collaborate effectively with business units on budget and cost-related matters.Strong sense of accountability, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
