Apply & track with Apply EdgeFunction: Finance & Accounts Role Summary: The Finance function at SarvaGram is pivotal to bringing financial control, managing treasury, creating and publishing profitability at different levels, and owning financial statements, MIS and board reporting, fund-raising support and investor relations for the Company. As Assistant Manager, you will be a key member of the core accounting and financial control team, responsible for day-to-day book-keeping, statutory and regulatory compliance (GST and TDS), reconciliations, and audit support, while also contributing to the accuracy and timeliness of monthly MIS and financial statements. This role offers direct exposure to how an NBFC's finance function operates end-to-end, and is well suited to someone who wants to build a strong foundation in financial control before moving into broader finance/controllership responsibilities. We are looking for candidates with a strong analytical mindset, high attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple deliverables and deadlines at once. Role Responsibilities:• Process ledger and booking entries in Tally according to stated procedures so that all transactions are recorded in a timely and accurate manner.• Preparing various reconciliations and providing data to auditors for Statutory and GST audit purposes.• Prepare GST and TDS return, filing and payment for the Company.• Ability to handle bank transactions including monthly bank reconciliation.• Ensure timely payment to lenders for EMI and maintain proper tracker cum interest working.• Maintain operational effectiveness and documentation for internal controls.• Support month-end and year-end closing, including preparation of schedules, ledger scrutiny and journal entries required for accurate financial statements and MIS.• Assist in preparation of financial statements and disclosures under Ind AS, and support statutory, internal and tax audits including data compilation and query resolution with auditors.• Support preparation of data and returns required for lender/investor reporting, drawing power certificates, and compliance data points required under loan sanction terms.• Maintain fixed asset register, prepaid/accrual schedules, and other balance sheet schedules on a monthly basis.• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls and reporting efficiency, including support for system/ERP-related improvements. Key Skills & Competencies:• Strong working knowledge of accounting principles, GST and TDS provisions.• High attention to detail and accuracy, with strong reconciliation and problem-solving skills.• Good communication skills to coordinate with auditors, lenders and cross-functional teams.• Ownership mindset and ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.Required qualifications:• B.Com/M.Com/CA Inter (or equivalent) with 3-5 years of post-qualification experience in core accounting/financial control; prior experience in an NBFC/BFSI environment strongly preferred.• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Tally; exposure to ERP systems (e.g. Zoho Books, SAP, Oracle) would be an added advantage.• Adept at working under pressure and tight deadlines, with strong time-management and prioritisation skills.
