Assistant Manager Finance

We are hiring an Assistant Manager - Finance who will manage full-spectrum accounting operations and month-end closing for assigned business units, prepare monthly group consolidation and both financial and management reports, and actively participate in system enhancement and finance transformation projects.Key ResponsibilitiesHandle day-to-day accounting operations and month-end closing for assigned business unitsPrepare monthly group consolidation and associated consolidation schedulesPrepare financial analysis, management reports, annual budgets, quarterly forecasts and financial PowerPoint presentations for managementManage audit, tax and other statutory filings in full compliance with HKFRS, IFRS and group accounting policiesCollaborate with operations and commercial teams to assess the financial implications of business activities and recommend workflowsActively participate in system integration, system enhancement and finance transformation projectsPerform ad-hoc tasks and projects as assigned by managementQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related fieldProfessional qualification (HKICPA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) is strongly preferredMinimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably with a freight-forwarding industry background and/or experience working in an MNCSolid hands-on experience with group consolidation under HKFRS/IFRS is highly preferredExcellent communication skills with a strong command of written and spoken English, Cantonese and MandarinDetail-oriented, self-motivated, organized, proactive and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environmentImmediate availability is highly preferredNote: The job title in the advertisement serves the purpose of attracting talent and advertising the position.Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO)DP World is committed to the principles of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO).
