Today, our solutions support many well-known food and dairy brands across India, helping them bring successful products to market faster.Our mission is to become one of India’s leading specialty ingredient companies, recognized for innovation, reliability, and long-term customer partnerships.Shree Additives is looking for a dynamic Assistant Finance Manager for building and strengthening the Finance team as a strategic growth pillar for the organisation.If you enjoy building relationships with food manufacturers, solving challenges, and driving business growth in the B2B ingredients space and want to contribute to the growth of a dynamic ingredient company working with some of the country’s most exciting food brands, this opportunity could be the right next step in your career.Role Purpose:To support the Finance Director in managing banking operations, cash flow, customer receivables, budgeting, finance costs, MIS, and other financial activities. The role will ensure effective working capital management, timely financial reporting, and strong coordination with banks, customers, and internal departments.Key Responsibilities1. Banking & Treasury ManagementCoordinate with banks for day-to-day banking activities, payments, documentation, and other banking requirements.Monitor bank balances, fund availability, and utilization of banking facilities.Coordinate with banks regarding working capital limits, interest, charges, documentation, and other finance-related matters.Review bank charges and interest calculations and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies.Maintain proper records of banking transactions and correspondence.2. Cash Flow ManagementPrepare and monitor daily/weekly/monthly cash flow statements and forecasts.Monitor expected receipts and payments and ensure adequate availability of funds.Coordinate with relevant departments for collection and payment planning.Monitor actual cash flow against forecast and highlight major variances.Support effective working capital and liquidity management.3. Customer Receivables ManagementMonitor customer outstanding and ageing on a regular basis.Coordinate with Sales/Commercial teams for timely collection of receivables.Follow up on overdue payments and ensure proper tracking of collection commitments.Review ageing and highlight long-outstanding or critical receivables to management.Coordinate with customers for account reconciliation and resolution of payment-related issues.Prepare regular receivables and collection reports.4. Budgeting & Financial PlanningAssist in preparation of annual budgets and financial plans.Coordinate with departments for budget inputs and assumptions.Monitor actual performance against budget and prepare variance analysis.Highlight significant deviations and support corrective action.Assist management in financial planning and cost control.5. Cost of FinanceMonitor interest costs, bank charges, and other finance-related expenses.Review finance costs against approved/expected costs and identify variances.Assist in optimizing utilization of banking and finance facilities.Identify opportunities for reducing overall cost of finance.6. MIS & Management ReportingPrepare timely MIS reports covering cash flow, receivables, banking, finance costs, and other key financial information.Prepare financial analysis and variance reports for management review.Ensure accuracy and timely submission of MIS.Provide financial data and analysis required for management decision-making.Use SAP and Advanced Excel for data extraction, analysis, reconciliation, and reporting.7. Management & Internal CoordinationProvide financial information and analysis to the Finance Director as required.Coordinate with Sales, Purchase, Commercial, Operations, and other departments on finance-related matters.Support internal and statutory audit requirements.Ensure adherence to financial policies, controls, and procedures.Handle other finance-related assignments/projects as required by management.Qualification & Experience:CA – Mandatory.4–5 years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounts.Strong experience in banking coordination, cash flow, receivables, budgeting, MIS, and financial analysis.SAP experience is mandatory.Advanced Excel skills are mandatory.Experience in manufacturing/FMCG/food industry will be an added advantage.Key Skills & Competencies:Strong knowledge of Finance & Accounts and working capital management.Good understanding of banking and treasury operations.Strong analytical and financial reporting skills.Excellent Advanced Excel and SAP skills.Good communication, coordination, and follow-up skills.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to manage multiple activities and meet deadlines.Proactive approach with good problem-solving and decision-making ability.
