Assistant Manager Finance

métier - Strategic HR Solutions is hiring an 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐫 – 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 for one of our leading insurance clients in the UAE.We are looking for an experienced finance professional to support financial operations, insurance company reconciliations, claim payments, cash flow management, budgeting, and financial reporting.𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬:Manage insurance company accounts, reconciliations, invoicing, collections, and ageing.Oversee financial processing and settlement of claim payments.Coordinate with Operations/Claims and Legal teams on financial and insurance-related matters.Support court-appointed experts by providing financial records, calculations, and documentation when required.Assist with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and cash flow monitoring.Supervise junior finance staff and support process improvements and internal controls.Ensure accurate financial records and compliance with applicable accounting standards.𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 & 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞:Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent qualification completed or in progress.4–6 years of progressive finance/accounting experience within an insurance company.Experience with claim payments and insurance-related financial operations is highly desirable.Strong knowledge of IFRS, financial reporting, and reconciliations.Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, or Microsoft Dynamics and advanced Excel.Strong communication, analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills.Fluency in English and Arabic is required.
