This role is responsible for supporting the financial management of the hospital, including assisting with budgeting, financial planning, and cash flow monitoring. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and reviewing financial reports, supporting month-end and year-end closings, maintaining accurate ledgers, and reconciling accounts. The Assistant Manager Finance helps oversee billing, collections, and vendor payments, ensuring compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements. The role also contributes to cost analysis, financial forecasting, and process improvements to support the hospital’s strategic and operational goals, while collaborating closely with clinical and administrative teams.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong financial accounting skills, including experience with general ledger management, reconciliations, and financial reporting.Candidates should possess budgeting and forecasting skills, with the ability to analyze variances and support data-driven financial decision-making.Candidates should possess skills in financial analysis and cost control, including proficiency in interpreting financial data, monitoring expenses, and optimizing resource use.Candidates should possess familiarity with hospital or healthcare finance processes, such as billing, collections, insurance coordination, and regulatory compliance (preferred).Candidates should possess proficiency with accounting and ERP software, as well as strong MS Excel skills for financial modeling and report preparation.Candidates should possess strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Candidates should possess clear written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with clinical and administrative staff.Candidates should possess at least a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; a professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CMA, CA finalist) is an advantage.Candidates should possess a high level of integrity, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical financial practices.
