Position Title: ASSISTANT MANAGER – FINANCEThe requirement is for Assistant Manager – Finance based in Dubai. The position will report to the Group Financial Controller and will support group financial reporting and consolidation, IFRS compliance, tax and statutory compliances, and detailed review and scrutiny of books of accounts for assigned entities within the group.Key responsibilities:Managing/reviewing monthly and annual closing of assigned entities and perform detailed scrutiny of GLs, balance sheets, accruals, provisions, prepayments, aged/unusual balances and supporting schedules.Supporting preparation and review of standalone and consolidated financial statements, including consolidation schedules, elimination entries, intercompany reconciliations, foreign currency translation and disclosures.Ensuring consistent application of IFRS and support accounting assessments including revenue recognition, ECL/impairment, provisions, leases and other key accounting matters.Owning/coordinating UAE VAT and Corporate Tax compliance and other applicable tax/statutory compliances for assigned Group entities, including reconciliations, filings and supporting documentation.Coordinating statutory audits and tax matters with auditors, consultants and local/remote finance teams; ensure timely resolution of audit and compliance queries.Reviewing intercompany transactions/balances, revenue, receivables, ageing, impairment assessments and material accounting entries to ensure accuracy and appropriate accounting treatment.Reviewing monthly financial results, investigating significant variances and strengthening financial controls, closing processes, ERP/automation and reporting quality.Required Skills & Experience:CA / ACCA / CPA and Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce. Please note that professional qualification such as CA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent is mandatory.5+ years of relevant finance and accounting experience, preferably including UAE experience.Strong practical knowledge of IFRS, consolidation, financial statements, books scrutiny and balance-sheet reconciliations.Good working knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax; multi-country tax/compliance exposure is an advantage.Experience handling multiple legal entities, intercompany accounting, multi-currency reporting and statutory audits.Advanced MS Excel and good ERP experience (Microsoft Dynamics or similar), with strong analytical, review and stakeholder-management skills.PS - Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted
