Role PurposeSASMOS is a rapidly expanding global leader in Aerospace driven by innovation and high-tech manufacturing excellence. To power our international trajectory, we are seeking an ambitious, analytical Chartered Accountant to assume a high-impact finance role. Role will manage standalone and consolidated for Group’s Indian material subsidiary, serve as the strategic lead for overseas finance operations, spearhead end-to-end multi-currency group consolidations for our global investment holding entity. Key Responsibilities & Strategic ScopeA. Book Closure for Avirata Defence Systems Standalone & Consolidation FinancialsAvirata Defence Systems Standalone Financials: monthly financial statements, balance sheet reconciliations, and general ledger integrity for ADS standalone entity operations with Ind AS / IFRS and relevant regulatory guidelines.Avirata Defence Systems Consolidation: Execute and govern the financial consolidation of ADS with parent and subsidiary, ensuring complete accuracy in elimination entries and equity accounting with Ind AS / IFRS and relevant regulatory guidelines.Audit Leadership and Management Reporting: Lead statutory, tax, and internal audit engagements with Big4 firms for Avirata Defence Systems standalone and consolidated financial statements.B. Books Closure & Consolidation for Overseas EntitiesGroup Books Closure Execution: Lead and streamline monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing cycles for all foreign entities within corporate timelines (on or before the 5th of every month).Multi-Currency Group Consolidation: Execute complex multi-entity eliminations (intercompany sales, payables/receivables, unrealized profit in stock), currency translation adjustments (CTA).Foreign Bookkeeper Governance: Co-ordinate and evaluate foreign entity accounting teams and bookkeepers to maintain high-precision ledgers and uniform global chart of accounts.C. Finance Operations Lead for Overseas EntitiesGlobal Operational Governance: Serve as the central financial anchor for all international entities, overseeing end-to-end financial operations, internal controls, and governance frameworks across global operations.Cross-Border Treasury & Cash Management: Strategic oversight of multi-currency cash flows, working capital optimization, global banking relationships, and international fund movements.Process Transformation & Automation: Standardize accounting workflows across foreign entities, drive digitization, and align localized operational practices with group-wide financial controls and IT systems.Risk & Compliance Management: Ensure robust compliance with cross-border transfer pricing, localized tax regulations, foreign exchange rules, and international audit standards.3. Candidate Profile & QualificationsEducation: Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification from ICAI is mandatory.Experience: 2 to 3 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in financial consolidation, corporate accounting, business finance, or managing multi-entity global finance operations.Technical Expertise: Hands-on proficiency with major ERP systems (SAP strongly preferred). Strong mastery over IFRS / Ind AS standards, multi-currency group consolidation mechanics, foreign exchange accounting, and intercompany eliminations.Advanced Excel modeling capabilities and exposure to management reporting (MIS).Key Competencies:Strong commercial acumen and business partnering ability.Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and cross-cultural communication skills.Exceptional problem-solving mindset with high attention to detail and ability to work under tight corporate reporting deadlines.
