Assistant Manager Finance - Real Estate Investments Our client, a leading global investment manager with a strong and growing European presence, is strengthening its Luxembourg platform. As part of the continued growth of its Luxembourg platform, they are seeking an Assistant Manager Finance. This is a great opportunity for a finance professional to take on a broad role across fund and property finance, working with teams across Europe. The position would suit someone looking to develop their career within a real estate or investment environment, with exposure to accounting, reporting, financial controls and transactions.Your responsibilitiesReview property level financial statements for real estate assets across the UK and EuropePrepare and review financial statements for Luxembourg entities, including Luxembourg GAAP to US GAAP conversionManage cash flows and payments for European holding entities, working closely with the banking teamLiaise with auditors, legal, tax, corporate secretarial and asset management teams across EuropeSupport acquisitions, disposals, leases and capital commitmentsSupport tax filings, SOX and internal audit requirementsAnalyse reconciliations and variances, prepare journal entries and identify improvements to processes and controlsSupport new transactions, system changes and technology driven process improvementsYour profileFrom 3 years’ experience in fund or real estate finance, ideally within an investment or real estate company, service provider or Big 4 environmentDegree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or a related disciplineGood knowledge of Luxembourg GAAP and Luxembourg tax regulationsExperience with US GAAP conversion and Yardi would be an advantageStrong understanding of financial statements, cash flow controls, transactions, leases, tax and auditFluent English is essential; additional European languages are a plusStrong problem solving, organisational and communication skills, with an appetite for working in a multilingual environmentIf this opportunity feels right for you, we’d love to hear from you.Kindly note that a valid Luxembourg work permit is required for consideration.All applications are handled with the utmost confidentiality, feel free to review our privacy policy on our website.We are proud to be an equal opportunity recruitment firm and welcome candidates from all backgrounds.
