Job Title: Assistant Manager: Financial Planning & AnalysisJob Location: Abu DhabiJob Summary:Assistant Manager - FP&A acts as a critical bridge between data-driven accounting functions and executive leadership. This role oversees the complete financial planning cycle, ensures the accuracy of complex financial models, and partners with department heads to drive profitability and operational excellence across PureLab’s UAE operations.Key Responsibilities:Managerial ResponsibilitiesProvide financial support to department heads, enabling informed decision-making.Facilitate cross-functional alignment between finance and operational teams to ensure budget adherence.Mentor team members on best practices in financial planning and analysis.Drive accountability for financial targets across departments by monitoring KPIs and reporting variances.Support change management initiatives related to financial processes and systems.Technical ResponsibilitiesStrategic Business Partnering: Collaborate with Lab Directors and Department Heads to convert financial data into actionable operational strategies. Assist stakeholders in managing P&Ls and optimizing resource allocation.Customer-Wise P&L Analysis: Develop and maintain detailed Profit & Loss statements by Customer/Account. Analyze the profitability of specific contracts, clinics, and partners to identify high-margin accounts and provide recommendations for underperforming contracts.Financial Modelling & Integrity: Build, maintain, and stress-test sophisticated financial models for long-range planning, sensitivity analysis, and "what-if" scenarios.Planning Cycle Oversight: Lead the annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and monthly outlooks, ensuring alignment between departmental goals and PureLab’s corporate strategy.Advanced Analytics: Conduct deep-dive analysis into profitability drivers, such as Cost per Test (CPT), reagent utilization, and equipment ROI.Performance Insight: Deliver high-quality monthly management reports that go beyond the "what" to explain the "why," providing actionable recommendations to the Senior Manager and Executive Leadership.Process Transformation: Champion the transition from manual reporting to automated BI-driven dashboards to increase the speed and accuracy of insights.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Finance & Accounting. Mandatory: Qualified CPA, CMA, or ACCA.Strong understanding of the UAE's economic landscape, IFRS standards, and local healthcare regulatory environment.Expert level in Excel & PowerPoint; Experience with BI Tools (Power BI/Tableau) and ERPs (preferably Oracle Fusion).Ability to operate in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
