Assistant Manager Financial Planning and Analysis

métier - Strategic HR Solutions is hiring an 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐫 – 𝐅𝐏&𝐀 for one of our leading insurance clients in the UAE.𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬Lead annual budgeting, financial planning, forecasting, and rolling forecasts.Prepare monthly management reports, dashboards, and financial performance analysis.Monitor actuals against budget and forecast, analyse variances, and provide actionable insights.Develop financial models and scenario analyses to support strategic and business decisions.Analyse GWP, profitability, claims ratios, expense ratios, combined ratios, and other key insurance KPIs.Work closely with Finance, Actuarial, Underwriting, Claims, and business teams to assess performance and identify opportunities.Support business planning, cost optimisation, and financial decision-making.Drive improvements in FP&A reporting, financial models, dashboards, and reporting processes.𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 & 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.ACCA, CA, CIMA, CMA, or equivalent qualification is preferred.Minimum 7 years of experience in FP&A, financial planning, financial analysis, or management reporting.UAE insurance industry experience is mandatory.Strong understanding of insurance financial metrics, budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis.𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬Strong financial modelling, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Advanced Excel skills; experience with Power BI or other BI tools is preferred.Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.Knowledge of the UAE insurance market and regulatory environment is an advantage.Willingness to relocate within the UAE.
