The role requires a flexible and commercially minded individual who can adapt to evolving business needs, connect financial and operational perspectives, and contribute to enhancing overall financial performance and bankability.Job AccountabilitiesInvolve in development of cash flow projections for projects and business units, aligned with operational and strategic plans.Partner closely with business units to understand commercial drivers, project timelines, and funding requirements.Analyse financial performance and projections to assess impact on financing structure and bankability.Support the Group’s financing activities by preparing financial information, models, and projections for banks.Provide forward-looking financial insights to support decision-making and optimise funding strategies.Job Responsibilitiesa) Financial Modelling & Cash Flow Planning Develop and maintain dynamic cash flow models (short-term and long-term) for projects and business units. Translate operational assumptions into financial projections, ensuring consistency and logical flow across P&L, cash flow, and balance sheet. Perform scenario analysis and sensitivity analysis Continuously refine projections based on latest business developments and assumptions. b) Business PartneringWork closely with business units to understand operational plans, challenges, and funding needs. Translate operational inputs into financial implications and cash flow impact. Challenge and refine assumptions to improve accuracy and reliability of projections. Provide financial perspectives that help business units think beyond their immediate scope. Act as a bridge between operations, finance, and treasury. c) Bankability & Financing Support Assess how financial results and projections impact key financing metrics (e.g., DSCR, gearing, liquidity). Assist in providing insights on how to structure or improve financials to enhance bankability. Prepare cash flow projections, financial models, and supporting analysis for submission to banks. Support discussions with financial institutions by explaining assumptions, risks, and financial outlook. Work with senior management to align financial strategy with funding requirements. d) Financial Analysis & Reporting Impact & Ad-Hoc ProjectsAnalyse financial statements and identify trends, risks, and opportunities. Evaluate how accounting treatments, revenue recognition, and cost structures impact cash flow and financing capacity. Provide recommendations to improve financial performance and funding position. Support strategic initiatives such as new projects, investments, and restructuring. Adapt quickly to different roles, depending on priorities e) Governance & CollaborationEnsure consistency and integrity of financial data used in projections and analysis. Collaborate with Accounting, Treasury Operations, and other finance functions as needed. Support audit and financing-related reviews where financial models and projections are required. Job RequirementsBachelor’s degree in accounting/finance and preferably with professional qualification(s).Minimum 5 years’ experience in management accounting/corporate finance/project finance/treasury managementExperience in financial modelling and cash flow forecasting is essential Exposure to banking/financing processes is highly preferred. Adequate understanding of accounting principles.Able to manage time and multitasking.Able to lead and guide subordinates.Team player with the ability to communicate and coordinate with various stakeholders.Computer software skills especially excel and preferable with accounting software system experience.
