قدّم وتابع مع أبلاي إيدجPosition SummaryThe Assistant Manager – Flat Steel will be responsible for leading and executing the sourcing strategy for flat steel and related raw materials, ensuring cost competitiveness, supply continuity, quality, and compliance with the company’s production requirements.This position will manage supplier relationships, negotiate commercial conditions, support strategic sourcing initiatives, and ensure the timely availability of materials required for operations. The role will work closely with Production, Planning, Quality, Engineering, Finance, and other key stakeholders to align procurement strategies with business and operational objectives.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement sourcing strategies for flat steel and related raw materials in alignment with business and production requirements.Identify, evaluate, develop, and manage suppliers to ensure competitive costs, quality, capacity, delivery performance, and supply continuity.Lead commercial negotiations regarding prices, payment terms, contracts, lead times, volumes, and other commercial conditions.Monitor market trends, steel prices, raw material costs, and industry developments to identify risks and sourcing opportunities.Manage supplier contracts and ensure compliance with agreed commercial and operational conditions.Ensure material availability according to production requirements, coordinating closely with Planning, Production, and suppliers.Support cost reduction and value optimization initiatives, including benchmarking, supplier development, and alternative sourcing.Collaborate with Quality and Engineering to ensure suppliers meet technical, quality, and process requirements.Evaluate and mitigate supply risks, including capacity constraints, price volatility, logistics disruptions, and supplier performance issues.Develop and maintain strong relationships with strategic suppliers and key internal stakeholders.Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.5+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, supply chain, or purchasing within a manufacturing or automotive environment.Experience with steel, metals, raw materials commodities Availability to travelAdvanced English
