Assistant Manager - Food & Beverage

Responsibilities

As an Assistant Manager - Food & Beverage, you will be responsible for:Supporting the daily operation of all Food & Beverage outlets and services.Leading and supporting the team during daily operations, busy periods, and events.Ensuring consistent service quality and maintaining hotel standards.Handling guest feedback and resolving concerns professionally and efficiently.Supervising service preparation and ensuring outlets are ready for operation.Supporting team scheduling, attendance, training, and development.Monitoring service performance and identifying opportunities for improvement.Coordinating closely with the Kitchen and other hotel departments to ensure smooth operations.Monitoring stock levels, equipment, and operational supplies.Supporting cost control and minimizing waste while maintaining service quality.Ensuring hygiene, food safety, and workplace safety standards are followed.Supporting the Food & Beverage Manager in achieving departmental goals and maintaining overall guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

Previous experience in Food & Beverage operations, preferably within the hotel or hospitality industry.Previous supervisory or assistant managerial experience in a similar role.Strong leadership and team management skills.Excellent guest service and problem-solving skills.Good knowledge of restaurant and banquet operations.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to manage busy operations and multiple priorities.Hands-on, positive, and team-oriented approach.Good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.Flexibility to work different shifts, weekends, and public holidays.Good command of English & Arabic.Why Hyatt Place?Our purpose is "we care for people so they can be their best."Care comes from a place of empathy and authentic human connection.
