Assistant Manager - ICT Governance and Compliance

Our client, a manufacturing company is looking for an Assistant Manager - ICT Governance and Compliance to be based in Jebel Ali, Dubai.About the RoleReporting to ICT Manager, the person will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enforcing IT policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with J-SOX (JDOX) requirements and corporate governance standards. The role supports IT General Controls (ITGC), change management governance, ERP and application controls, and IT infrastructure compliance.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain ICT policies, standards, and procedures aligned with J-SOX (JDOX) and internal control requirements.Implement and monitor IT General Controls (ITGC), including access management, change management, backup and recovery, and IT operations.Ensure all system changes are properly documented, tested, approved, and implemented.Coordinate and support internal and external IT audits, including remediation of audit findings.Monitor compliance with IT policies and recommend improvements to strengthen control effectiveness.Deliver governance and compliance awareness training to IT teams and stakeholders.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field.3–5 years of experience in IT Governance, IT Compliance, IT Audit, Risk Management, or IT Controls.Required SkillsKnowledge of J-SOX (JDOX), SOX, IT General Controls (ITGC), and change management processes.Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Infor, or similar).Understanding of access controls, Segregation of Duties (SoD), IT infrastructure, and information security principles.Experience supporting internal and external audits.Strong analytical, documentation, and policy-writing skills.Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.Preferred SkillsRespect teamwork, excellent communicator, self-starter.CISA, CRISC, ITIL, COBIT, or ISO 27001 certifications are preferred.
