Role: As Community Marketing Manager for Autodesk InfraWorks 360, you will provide overall leadership and planning for global marketing efforts for initiatives that support driving billings and subscriptions for Autodesk InfraWorks 360. Specifically, you will lead efforts to help determine the most effective activities to drive awareness, preference, and demand for Autodesk InfraWorks 360 among civil engineering professionals. As Community Marketing Manager you will collaborate with other Autodesk industry strategy, technical marketing, and marketing managers to clearly position and message Autodesk InfraWorks 360 for various segments. Outstanding interpersonal skills and a strong affinity for building cooperative relationships with other teams including Technical Marketing, Industry Strategy, Product Management, Sales, Field Marketing and Web teams will be keys to successfully developing marketing initiatives and solution offerings. In addition to developing marketing programs to support the overall business objectives for Autodesk InfraWorks 360, you will be responsible for putting together a strategy for reaching, engaging with and building affinity among civil engineers through the development of a new or entering into an existing community. In this role, the candidate must be able to understand the dynamics of how designers and engineers in the infrastructure industry consume information on trends and technology, where they go both physically and online to engage with peers and be able to connect and relate to challenges faced by the broader industry. In this role the candidate will curate and engage in conversations whether they happen at the project site or online, providing strong points of view based on data that help design and engineering companies embrace InfraWorks 360. This role will involve developing a strategy for expanding influence and impact on the community through social and online vehicles and physical events. The role will demand responsibility for driving the formation and support for new ideas on ways to reach the target market. Developing and nurturing relationships with fans, friends, influencers and the media will be critical success factors and will depend on the candidate proactively reaching out, being a voice in the community and nurturing those they connect with to share their stories. As part of the role the candidate must see through their plans and strategies to execution and report metrics to the extended team to demonstrate success. The candidate will need to build and nurture connections to regional and field sales and marketing teams and gain their commitments to develop and execute marketing plans that drive product demand. Job Title and Requisition Number: Community Marketing Manager, InfraWorks 360, Requisition 14WD15614 Location(s): Waltham, MA or San Francisco, CA Responsibilities: • Defines industry marketing goals, objectives and programs for Autodesk InfraWorks 360. • Oversees creation and execution of a marketing plan. The plan defines the messages to be communicated, target audiences, goals to be achieved, fit with other Autodesk marketing initiatives and tactical communications programs to be executed. The plan includes timelines, program success metrics, and resources required. • Collaborates with other product and industry teams on joint marketing initiatives. • Directs and contributes to internal marketing materials and presentations to promote a common understanding of the strategy and vision for Autodesk InfraWorks 360. These may include internal web pages, white papers, sales kits, presentations, etc. • Provides vision, guidance, and relationship building with field marketing and corporate marketing to assure initiation and successful execution of awareness and preference generating activities for InfraWorks 360, such as PR, events, user groups, and product reviews. • Works with reseller channel and direct sales teams to assure InfraWorks 360 sales and technical training aligns with marketing messages. • Builds relationships with and influences analysts and press to positively influence their perspective on Autodesk InfraWorks 360. • Work with the Infrastructure Industry Marketing team to provide InfraWorks 360 specific marketing support to key accounts and partners. • Identify and evaluate strategic, innovative, community opportunities across the ecosystem to connect, engage and inspire with infrastructure professionals. • Be a voice for Autodesk, InfraWorks 360 and the industry within the communities defined as relevant for infrastructure professionals. • Spearhead strategic planning and lead the tactical execution of places physical and virtual where Autodesk voice can be heard for how we can help to transform the industry with Autodesk InfraWorks 360. • Serve as an evangelist for Autodesk InfraWorks 360 in existing and new communities both virtually and physically. Requirements: • BA/BS degree, preferably in Business Administration or an engineering field. MBA preferred. • 5 years of experience in business/marketing role preferred • Domain experience in the infrastructure industry preferred • Product knowledge in particular Autodesk InfraWorks 360 Pro preferred. • Successful track record leading solution or industry marketing initiatives. • Outstanding interpersonal and communications skills. • Exceptional multi-tasking skills. • Ability to work effectively in global virtual teams, and dispersed teams. • Ability to influence stakeholders and drive decisions to closure. • Demonstrates initiative and is self-driven. • Thrives in a dynamic environment where requirements shift to meet changing business needs. • Proven success creating marketing plans and communications materials. • Experience managing marketing budgets and demonstrating ROI. • Ability to coordinate people and activities across multiple functional areas. • Ability to establish credibility and achieve positive impact in customer, analyst and press interactions. • A team player who is willing to engage in both strategic and tactical work as business needs dictate. • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects. • Have a solid sense of how social media tools and platforms work, as well as an ability to analyze results and optimize across channels. • Be able to identify and recommend content that the community will find valuable and encourage community participation. • Must possess strong internal communication skills and be able to identify/report on results in a business relevant way to executives and the extended team. • Willingness to experiment, collaborate, and pilot with curiosity while continually focusing on results.
