With more than a decade of experience and a highly skilled team, we are proud to support organizations across the region with tailored workforce solutions.We are currently hiring a Assistant Manager Learning Platforms on behalf of a prestigious client, based in their Dubai office.Job Purpose:The Assistant Manager – Learning Platforms is responsible for driving the ongoing enhancement, automation, and technical governance of company's learning management systems and digital learning platforms. The role owns the platform roadmap from a functional perspective — ensuring learning technology is stable, scalable, and continuously improved to support the company's learning and development agenda. The incumbent works closely with the Talent & Development team to translate learning strategy into platform capability, while partnering with IT and vendors to deliver system changes, integrations, and automations.Job Responsibilities:Platform Management & EnhancementOwn the day-to-day administration, configuration, and performance of the Bank's learning platform(s) and tools.Identify, prioritize, and implement platform enhancements, upgrades, and new feature rollouts in line with business and user needs.Maintain a structured change and enhancement roadmap for learning systems, in coordination with the Head of HR Platforms & Operations.Conduct regular platform audits to identify gaps, inefficiencies, or opportunities for improvement.Maintain learning curricula, certification workflows, and system configurations required to support mandatory, regulatory, risk, AML, sanctions, conduct, information security, and other compliance training requirements.Ensure learning platform functionality aligns with evolving regulatory obligations, internal policies, and audit recommendations.Automation & Process ImprovementDrive automation of manual learning administration processes (enrolments, certifications, compliance tracking, reporting, notifications.Design and implement workflow automations that reduce turnaround time and manual effort across the learning lifecycle.Explore and pilot new technologies (AI-enabled learning tools, integrations, self-service capabilities) to modernize the learning experience.Stakeholder CollaborationPartner closely with the Head of Talent & Development to understand learning priorities and translate them into platform requirements.Act as the key liaison between HR, IT, and external vendors on all platform-related changes, system integrations, and technical issues.Support Talent & Development in the digital delivery of learning initiatives, including talent & leadership development, competency framework enablement, career pathing, and mandatory/compliance training.System Integrity, Reporting & ComplianceEnsure data integrity, security, and accuracy across the learning platform(s).Develop and maintain dashboards and reports on learning platform usage, learning metrics, and system performance for HR and business stakeholders.Ensure learning platforms comply with internal governance, regulatory, and audit requirements.Establish and maintain controls to ensure learning data integrity, accuracy, auditability, and regulatory compliance.Monitor mandatory training compliance rates and implement proactive interventions to improve completion performance across the Bank.Ensure system controls, workflows, and user access management comply with internal risk, governance, and information security standards.Compliance Learning GovernanceAct as the system owner for all mandatory and compliance-related learning within the learning platform.Ensure accurate assignment, tracking, completion monitoring, certification management, and escalation of mandatory training requirements across the Bank.Partner with Compliance, Risk, Information Security, Internal Audit, and HR stakeholders to implement new regulatory learning requirements and maintain associated learning records.Produce regulatory, audit, and management information reports relating to mandatory training completion, overdue training, attestation requirements, and compliance learning effectiveness.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in human resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.ExperienceMinimum 5 years of experience in HR systems/platforms, with specific exposure to Learning Management Systems (LMS) or Learning Experience Platforms (LXP).Strong understanding of learning and development methodologies and trends. Having worked as part of a Learning & Development function is preferred.Prior experience within banking or financial services is preferred.Demonstrated experience in system enhancement, automation, or digital transformation projects.Strong functional knowledge of LMS/LXP platforms (e.g., Disprz, Oracle, Cornerstone, SuccessFactors Learning, Do Cebo, or similar).Working knowledge of automation tools, system integrations, and reporting/analytics.Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.Analytical mindset with attention to detail and process orientation.Project management skills, with ability to manage multiple initiatives concurrently.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
