This position is responsible for monitoring and ensuring adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies across the company’s operations. Day-to-day tasks include drafting and reviewing contracts and service agreements, preparing and maintaining legal and compliance documentation, and supporting audits or internal reviews. The role also involves assessing regulatory changes relevant to publishing, marketing, and digital services, advising stakeholders on compliance requirements, and helping implement risk mitigation measures. The Assistant Manager – Legal Compliance will collaborate with cross-functional teams, support training on compliance standards, and assist in resolving legal and regulatory issues in a practical, business-oriented manner.QualificationsStrong foundation in Law and Legal Compliance, with the ability to interpret and apply relevant statutes and industry regulations.Experience in Regulatory Compliance and Compliance Management, including developing or maintaining compliance frameworks and policies.Proficiency in Legal Document Preparation, including drafting, reviewing, and organizing contracts, policies, and notices.Bachelor’s degree or higher in Law or a related discipline; professional certifications in compliance or corporate law are an advantage.Attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly.Ability to work on-site in Gurugram, collaborate effectively with diverse teams, and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.Prior experience in publishing, media, marketing, or technology sectors is beneficial but not required.
