Apply & track with Apply EdgeAbout the RoleWe are looking for an Assistant Manager / Manager to join our Business Services & Outsourcing (BSO) Department. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting experience, with a solid understanding of financial reporting, accounting processes, IFRS, and Saudi tax requirements. The role also involves supporting BSO services, preparing proposals and engagement letters, and contributing to the growth of the department and acquisition of new clients.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise the preparation and processing of payments, ensuring accurate recording and maintenance of accounting records.Reconcile account balances and bank statements.Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.Maintain the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions, including periodic and annual reconciliations and closing of the books.Prepare draft statutory financial statements.Prepare schedules for auditors and Zakat consultants.Prepare schedules and filings for VAT and Withholding Tax in coordination with the VAT/Zakat Consultant.Develop and document business and accounting cycles/processes for internal controls.Exercise financial control over payments to vendors, suppliers, and employees.Work hands-on with ERP/accounting software such as Sage, SAP, and Oracle.Support the marketing of BSO services and prepare draft proposals and engagement letters.Maintain proper archiving and document control related to accounting.Assist in improving and growing the BSO Department and obtaining new clients.Qualifications & Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.Minimum 8 years of experience in the accounting field.Professional certification such as CMA, ACCA, or CPA is preferred.Very good knowledge of IFRS and IFRS for SMEs.Strong understanding of Saudi tax types and principles relevant to accounting.Hands-on experience with ERP/accounting software, such as Sage, SAP, or Oracle.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.Strong communication, presentation, management, and negotiation skills.Proven ability to collaborate with and guide diverse teams.Strong attention to detail and critical-thinking skills.Fluent in Arabic and English.Experience in marketing professional services, preparing proposals, and engagement letters.Currently based in Saudi Arabia is preferred.
