The team consists of 13 professionals, 7 of whom are dedicated to procurement activities.We support operations across Europe and North Africa, making this a truly international function.YOUR MISSIONAs Assistant Manager Parts Procurement, you will lead a team of six colleagues within the Production & Procurement department.WHAT YOU'LL BE DOINGLeading, coaching, and developing team members.Conducting performance and development reviews, providing day-to-day guidance, and supporting the team when required.Ensuring departmental objectives and performance targets are achieved.Advising on workforce planning, training, and development requirements within the department.Developing, maintaining, and improving supplier performance KPIs while ensuring data integrity and accurate reporting.Identifying new markets and sourcing opportunities for suppliers and products, negotiating favorable terms regarding quality, payment conditions, warranties, and delivery performance.Managing quotations and purchase orders in accordance with internal procurement procedures and technical specifications.Ensuring an efficient, reliable, and sustainable supply chain.Working closely with Inventory Management to develop forecasts and maintain a smooth flow of goods.Acting as the right-hand support to the Procurement Manager, including advising on supplier contracts and market developments.WHAT YOU BRINGEducationMBO Level 4 in Logistics or a related field.NEVI 1 and NEVI 2 certification required.A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related discipline is considered an advantage.ExperienceMinimum of 5 years' experience managing and leading a procurement or purchasing team.LanguagesFluent in EnglishDutch is a plusSkillsAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.Excellent organizational, time management, multitasking, and prioritization abilities.WHAT WE OFFERCompensation built of a yearly gross salary between 52.400 euros and 78.000 euros (including holiday allowance and based on experience)27 days of leave + 13 extra collective days of leave (ADV)‘Metalektro’ Collective Labour Agreement (CLA)Excellent pension scheme with a high employer contributionWorking from home possibility and flexible working hoursBudget of 1500 euro’s to set up your workplaceCollective accident insuranceInternational learning and development programCareer opportunitiesREADY TO APPLY?We’d love to hear from you.
