Assistant Manager - Projects

Role Summary

This role involves transforming interior spaces to meet specific design and functionality needs, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, within budget, and to the clients satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Project Planning and Management: Oversee all phases of retail fitout projects from initiation to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.Team Coordination: Lead and manage project teams, including subcontractors and suppliers, to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality outcomes.Client Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met throughout the project lifecycle.Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets, including cost estimation, tracking, and reporting.Quality Control: Ensure all work meets the required standards and specifications, conducting regular site inspections and quality checks.Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive project documentation and provide regular progress reports to stakeholders.Attention to Detail: Ensuring precision in all aspects of the project.Problem-Solving: Ability to address and resolve issues promptly and effectively.Adaptability: Flexibility to manage changes and unexpected challengesClient-Focused: Commitment to delivering exceptional service and maintaining strong client relationships.People Management :The incumbent holds no direct supervisory responsibilities but is expected to engage effectively within their function and collaboratively across cross-functional teams. This role contributes meaningfully, whether through operational contributions and/or by offering specialized expertise, guidance, and support, to ensure alignment with either functional and/or strategic organizational goals and objectives.Experience : 6-7 years of experience in handling, retail, F&B and supermarket projects.
