With a portfolio of discerning projects, the organization emphasizes reliability, craftsmanship, and client satisfaction.Role Description The Assistant Manager Purchase will manage day-to-day procurement activities, including vendor identification, quotation evaluation, and purchase order processing for interior and civil works materials. This full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai involves coordinating with project managers, site teams, and suppliers to ensure timely availability of quality materials within budget. The role includes maintaining purchase records, monitoring inventory levels, negotiating pricing and payment terms, and tracking delivery schedules. The Assistant Manager Purchase will also support vendor performance evaluation, compliance with company policies, and continuous improvement of procurement processes.Qualifications Strong procurement and purchasing skills, including vendor management, quotation comparison, and purchase order coordination.Knowledge of materials used in interiors, civil works, and fit-out projects, with the ability to assess quality and suitability.Proficiency in basic commercial calculations, cost analysis, and budgeting for materials and services.Experience using MS Excel, procurement software, or ERP tools for maintaining records and tracking orders.Good communication and negotiation skills for working with vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders.Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively on-site in a fast-paced project environment.Relevant experience in purchasing or supply chain within construction, interiors, or related industries preferred.Diploma or degree in Business, Commerce, Supply Chain, Civil/Interior-related field, or equivalent practical experience.
