Assistant Manager- Purchase (Raw Materials)

Purpose:Developing and executing purchasing strategies, tracking metrics to reduce expenses, negotiating deals, and managing vendors. Ensure clear requirements, forecast market trends, mitigate risks, and collaborate with stakeholders.Key Responsibilities· Responsible for end-to-end Raw Material Procurement Operations. · Ensure timely availability of raw materials as per production and inventory plans. · Execute budget-based procurement through effective supplier negotiations and strategic sourcing. · Manage complete procurement cycle from PR to PO, including commercial and payment terms finalization. · Develop and maintain a reliable vendor base ensuring quality, cost competitiveness, and timely delivery. · Drive cost reduction initiatives through negotiations, contracts, and alternate sourcing strategies. · Monitor domestic and global raw material price trends for effective procurement planning and price discovery. · Identify alternative materials and sourcing opportunities to improve manufacturing competitiveness. · Collaborate with Production, Planning, Quality, Finance, and Supply Chain teams for seamless operations. · Support continuous improvement through standardization, process optimization, automation, and operational excellence initiatives.Key RequirementsEssential: Graduation: B. E./ B.
