Assistant Manager – Quality & Sustainability

About the RoleTo develop and manage all EHSQ systems and processes in accordance with UAE legislation and ISO standards. To monitor and analyze EHSQ performance, improve safety culture and conduct internal safety/quality inspections/audits.ResponsibilitiesImplement company policies and procedures for EHSQ, control and monitor all company policies and procedures in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 and legal requirements.Direct, control and evaluate the operation of the EHSQ, EHSQ training for all Imdaad divisions.Assist EHSQ Manager on the interpretation and administration of EHSQ policies and procedures.Propose improvements to methods, operations, systems and procedures related to EHSQ for all Imdaad divisions.Recommend initiatives to improve the safety culture within the company.Provision of advice regarding technical / EHSQ queries.Ensure EHSQ inspections are carried out in regular basis as determined by regulatory/ contract/ operational requirement.Ensure IMS internal audit are planned, scheduled and carried out on annual basis.Emphasis consultation & participation of managerial and non-managerial employees while conducting risk assessments, incident investigations and any improvement of the EHSQ process.QualificationsPG/Bachelors/3 Years Diploma in Engineering or science in the relevant occupation from a recognized institute.NEBOSH Level 6 or equivalent.Preferably IOSH or equivalent professional member.Lead ISO Auditor for 9001, 14001 and 45001 standards.Required Skills10-12 years of experience in the relevant trade with 5-7 years supervisory experience.Preferably having 7 - 10 years of post qualifying practical EHS experience.EHSQ Training experience.Knowledge in facility management will be an added advantage.Ability to work to tight deadlines in a demanding environment.Excellent communication skills in English and knowledge in other languages will be an advantage.Must have excellent computer literacy with MS office.Excellent telephone etiquettes.Good Interpersonal and organizational skills.Excellent management and drafting skills.Possessing a valid UAE driving license.
