Assistant Manager, Research and Development (Local)

General Responsibilities: Research & Development will support management in conducting research, data analysis, market and competitor analysis, and business improvement initiatives. The role requires strong analytical thinking, business acumen, research skills, and the ability to turn complex data into clear insights and practical recommendations for management.

Responsibilities

The key responsibilities are to· Conduct objective research and analysis on current and emerging market trends, industry developments, competitors, business performance, and other relevant topics to support strategic decision-making.· Collect, analyze, and interpret quantitative and qualitative data from various internal and external sources.· Conduct market research, industry trend analysis, competitor analysis, and benchmarking activities.· Present research findings and recommendations to Senior Management clearly and confidently, with opinions supported by relevant data and facts.· Assist departmental leaders and managers in identifying and optimizing key value drivers that can improve business performance and create sustainable competitive advantages.· Work closely with different departments and management teams to gather information, understand business challenges, and support improvement initiatives.· Continuously research new ideas, business models, and industry practices that may benefit the organization.· Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned by Management.

Requirements

Experience and Education: · Bachelor’s degree in IT or Business Management/ Finance/ Economics with Professional IT certification · Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in Research & DevelopmentKnowledge and Skills:· Fluency in English language· Strong analytical thinking, research, skills.· Demonstrate ability to learn and master new subject-matter· Proven track record in effective project management skills and a good team player. · Resourceful, possess strong business acumen and a result-oriented self-starter who is highly adaptable, able to work independently and effectively under pressure in fast-paced environment.· Demonstrate ability to think on your feet as well as making data-driven decision. · Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
